#NSC DAY 7 : Voice it out!

Today would be the final day for the Nokia sustainability challenge. Before anything else get going, let me first refresh you up guys with the previous challenges that I made and shared for a greener environment.

DAY 1 : Enjoy the Environment - Make Plans!
DAY 2 : Paper-Saving
DAY 3 : Water Saver!
DAY 4 : Plastic Bag Sucks - Eco Bag Rocks!
DAY 5 : Pick it up - Shoot it in!
DAY 6 : Rethink Bottled Water

And for the final challenge,

DAY 7 : Voice it out!

To spread the message across, knowing a large group of people comes in handy. For creating a positive response to environment friendly exercises too, you would need to spread the message across a large group of people. One way is holding debates and discussions and talking about it among your family and children. The other, more interesting way would be to involve everyone in eco-friendly activities together. This will not just spread awareness, through these activities there can be a large scale contribution to environment protection and preservation.

Doing something as a team and working towards a common objective enhances the level of efficiency and brings in faster results. Preserving environment and adopting a lifestyle that is conducive to the environment is an immediate concern. Working in groups with your family, neighbours and members of the locality will go a long way in promoting environment-friendly ways of living and hence a healthier lifestyle.

BOTTOM LINE Besides caring about the environment and taking personal action, you can go a step further by spreading the environmental or green message and educating family members, friends, classmates or colleagues. Share your environmental knowledge with them and remind them to reduce wastage and over-consumption. Furthermore, you can influence the organisation that you belong to, whether it is a school, a company or a social group, to be more environmentally friendly.

#NSC DAY 2 : Paper-Saving :)

At home, we’re always looking for ways to save on common items: groceries, toiletries, household aids. Personally, I find that one of the best ways to start saving on these expenses is by saving on paper. We practice a few paper-saving habits at home, which have all helped lessen our expenses. At the same time, I know we’re creating less waste for our environment.

Here are some of these paper-saving practices.
1. We don’t buy paper napkins. They’re an added expense on our grocery list, and what’s more, they create a lot of unnecessary paper waste. Instead, we use cloth napkins.
2. We use and reuse paper anything. We keep old envelopes from credit card statements and bank bills and use them for sorting receipts, or for setting aside cash for certain expenses. We make sure to use both sides of paper
3. We’re not a paper plating family. I know a lot of people who’d bring out the paper plates and cups when the guests come ringing. Not me. First of all, it’s just classier to use real plates and flatware, no matter how casual the get-together is. Secondly, buying paper plates and cups when you’re just entertaining at home feels – to me – like chucking cash into the trash!

These simple habits we’ve formed at home are just some of the ways we avoid creating paper waste. It’s good to know that more and more families are taking little steps like these, all in an effort to green our world, little by little.

Dear Readers,

   – O – V – E
Most people say that it is a magical word yet so broad. There are different kinds of LOVE : Love for God, love for family, love for special someone, love for friends, and a lot more. You see – LOVE is everywhere! It brings magic to everyone’s life. Just like these two bestfriends turns magically into somewhat lil’ romantic buddies… Opposite they may be, but they have lots of similarities to share with each other. And they were bounded with a special type of LOVE : More than best buddies but doesn’t exceeds beyond couples.

June 2011, an expected relationship occurs between Reinard and Justine. They met on their first day in college as classmates who both take up BS. Applied Mathematics at PUP-Taguig. On that day, Reinard was elected class president, while Justine was elected vice-president. With this, they became good classmates and eventually best friends.

different they may be to each other, but they really had a nice clash with their similarities. They are both outgoing, music lovers, talkative, and of course good companions. Though they sometimes encounter lil misunderstandings. Oh and they’re to be considered as a techie ones!

It is for us to find our pair to be with. And that’s what happened to them – they found their complement to each other.
